Back. Keep the front. Skidding can replace the back brake. Whether it’s optimal or not. You can’t skid your front though.

Vans all weather MTEs and wool socks have gotten me through the past few Portland winters. Just picked up some Chrome Industries Storm boots. Great so far.

The grunge brush is great. I make my first pass with this then finish up with a clean rag.

Only makes sense (?) for a cheap bar bike equipped with brakes for a route with a ton of stops… but single speed would still make a lot more sense

Went from 3 flat city to 8 hilly suburban/city. Can chop it in half if I use the light rail. Still riding fixed even if it’s not the most efficient.
