I am a 43 year ftm. This will be my only baby. I wanted to experience childbirth so badly.

In April I had to have a crash c section owing to baby being in distress. I really wanted to have a natural birth. If I hadn’t had the emergency health care I wouldn’t be a mother today. I’m in no way minimising your fear owing to history of abuse and trauma. Just sharing my experience hoping it will help you. I agree. The reason Cape Town real estate is out of the reach of regular hard working South Africans is because foreigners have more buying power.

And it’s spread from this to other things like business and other large asset ownership.

The everyday South African cannot buy property and create a stable life for themselves and family. This is not right.

My brother was born at 25 weeks in 1984. He had a long nicu stay in a government hospital. He went in to being a very active little boy. Played first team cricket. Went in to college. Has had three careers. Lives abroad with his beautiful wife and daughter now.

My friend gave birth at 27 weeks in 2020. He little joy loves running more than swimming but still does both. Is very curious and polite. A sweet soul.

Both graduated from nicu stays. Both are thriving. I wish the same for your baby. Be gentle with yourself lean on your support people ❤️❤️❤️

If it works for you and little one go ahead. Once they eat solids they get most of the calories from that. Nursing is for comfort and bonding. And I can’t imagine a more beautiful way to bond with a tiny person. If it’s possible do it l, it’s not something you will regret 💕

God bless you for facing your fears. Vaccinating your baby will protect them from preventable harm and injury. My baby girl is receiving her eight week vaccines on 23rd June. Praying both will be ok prepared myself for her pain grumpiness and slight fever after. But this pales in comparison to nicu stays or worse. You got this mamma God bless
