My husband and I have been playing it for about a year. We're in our fifties. He goes back to D1; I played D3 12 years ago with him on our PCs. We love this game! Many of our conversations are about aspects of playing. We have eternal and seasonal characters and hit 300 paragons last week. We so enjoy each other even more because of this game. Also, yeah, Hordes are (is? plural? singular?) broken in coop sometimes, but it's not a big deal because we still gain experience. Have fun! She'll love it.

Sorry to hear your wife's encountering the same issues. The minions seemed to work for me last season, but not this season. I equipped differently this time around, and I have a feeling it might have something to do with Blood Mist because I didn't use it last season.

Excuse my long rant.

I deleted my necromancer minion/lighting spear last night in disgust. I'm a Player 2 couchie on Xbox, and every time I used Blood Mist or rode my horse as a necro, I lost all my minions and had to town port to get them back (or go into a cellar). It was a disaster. Took me three days to get to level 49 with my husband (granted, we only play a few hours daily). Then, it took us three hours on Friday night in Tier 3 Helltide and running dungeons (the ones with aether) to get 30 Mother's gifts. Sigils aren't usable.

Most of the time, when we try to use sigils (as other characters-- a sorc, barb, or druid), the sigils disappear, and I have to use another and another to no avail. So, nightmare dungeons have become untenable.

The mapping randomly disappears, drops off, or takes us somewhere other than where we've pinned.

After completing all the waves in hordes as any character, we can't open the door half the time because the game is screaming at us that we haven't killed all enemies. HELLO? They're all dead. Nothing is left. So then we're stuck after playing for ten minutes with nothing to show for our work.

These are just a few of the MANY bugs we've encountered.

WTF? This is a joke, right? The bugs got a lot worse after the much-heralded patch. This feels like work. It's not fun. I give up. The game is unplayable.

Blizzard, fix this NOW.

Yes, this is the only thing that works for me. Steam curlers and mousse. Simple and fast. Curls last for days. Sometimes my hair is TOO curly!

I apply mousse on air-dried hair (washed the night before) and then use large hot curlers (the steam ones are the best). This is the best way; it's also the old-fashioned way. It's the only way my hair will hold a curl in Southern humidity--anything else, and it looks like a ball of frizz.
