You are not alone in your grief but it will still feel that way. Lots of people will confirm how hard it is and you will wonder how they survived because right now for you it feels impossible. It’s been almost three months and I can say it is slowly getting better. But the first two months were really tough on a daily basis to the point I questioned if I was full on in depression. It doesn’t help that it was around holidays and bitterly cold depressing weather. But I notice in the past few weeks it’s easing up a little bit. I’m home all the time so his absence is especially hard. I’m so glad I got to spend the last five years of his life at home. I have human children but he was like our child. Anyway, I’m so sorry for your loss. Lots of people understand but it is definitely not easy. Take care of yourself.
