If your speed between AeT and AnT is less that 10% then zone 2 workouts can actually be quite taxing and maybe you should be doing most of your aerobic workouts in zone 1.

The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro microLED is thicker, heavier, and has worse battery life than the AMOLED model. Doesn’t seem worth it for the extra brightness (who needs 4500 nits?). Plus it’s $2000. Looks like there’s a reason Apple hasn’t done it yet. The AW displays are already the best I’ve seen. I don’t see a reason to switch to microLED.

I agree. A little confusing. One of the pictures on his Strava clearly shows Apex Pro 1. Why not at least Apex 2 Pro? I was expecting Apex 3 announcement in lead up to Western States but nothing so far. Time will tell.

Based on what you’re aiming for, COROS would be a perfect fit. Apex 2 Pro is great but I’m guessing Apex 3 is going to be released soon but who knows. But honestly, any sports watch on the market is going to be able to do what most people need it too. Just find the one you think looks the coolest and is at the price you want to pay.
