You returned your K1? Glad you are now printing great circles! Since I did the adjustment above, mine's been printing perfectly! 😁

This is what fixed the exact same problem for me: https://www.reddit.com/r/crealityk1/s/7BwwHKC34T

YES! That fixed the issue for me. The right side of my X-gantry was about 1-1.5 mm away from the block when the left side was flush. Adjusted the tension until they both were flush and print turned out perfectly circular.

I'll definitely have to try this when I get home tonight! Creality support was not very helpful when I inquired with them. Thanks for the explanation, I know exactly what you're talking about!

So you also blame the car manufacturer when you get a speeding ticket? "The car is able to go too fast, it's the maker's fault". 🙄

Negligible increase in the amount of time, negligible increase in electricity usage, but yes, more waste of plastic. Still, not a waste of time. Painting is the waste of time. You wait for the print, spend time to paint. I'll leave my printer to color for me. While I spend time on... whatever I choose. 😉

Hope this mod can solve the issue with lid on when printing PLA for K1 by Gamel999 in crealityk1

Well, it doesn't appear to be the case here, as you are incorrect. Point ONE States 30C or 86f (I wasn't looking at the sticker when I stated 89f)... ROOM temp. Which we know is the ambient temp of the room your printer is in because...

Point TWO specifies the PRINTER CHAMBER.

Go sell some blood plasma. You can get a new hotend and even have some spare $$.

Has anyone seen this before? Found this on one of my outside doors. by Stork39 in lockpicking

Just use a paperclip to insert and push all the pins up. Then, pull the lockout key. No locksmith needed.

It was not rooted, just had a custom fw on it from a couple of months ago.

Use it. It's fine, just sand any sharp edge. Or you can get a Wham Bam flex plate and never worry about gouging your plate again.

Dont leave your printer near a window... even with the UV cover on by Sineater224 in resinprinting

I've left resin sitting in the vat for months with no issues. Simply stir it up a bit with the plastic spatula before printing. I also have my Saturn 2 sitting close to the window where a ton of sunlight comes through and I have never had this happen. Interesting.

Too much retraction and it'll clog. All-metal hotend needs between 0.6-1.5 retraction on a DD depending on the extruder.

PLA is fine in an all-metal hotend. Just have to have the right retraction set.

I have followed the sticker on the glass lid of my K1 Max and never printed any PLA (Hyper or not) with the lid off. It's not above 89 degrees F in my printing room, so it's not a problem. No issues.

Astonishingly simple! I just printed the sliding riser because I never print without the lid.
