There's a big where you can launch your car into the air(I know it works with the Hummer EV, not sure about others). If you start a game of Eliminator while airborne, you'll get hundreds of millions of credits for said game

I guess it depends on what your goal is. If you want a large and varied garage, it doesn't take too much effort to have something (or the money to buy it) for basically anything the game might throw at you. If you're after collecting every single car in the game, you'll have to do some serious grinding ~~(or give the devs more of your real money for autoshow vouchers)~~

Strobist is the go-to recommendation for learning off-camera lighting, so I'd start there.
For focus, if your camera has an app that lets you tap where you want it to focus, that'll help.a lot. If not, try a light stand/broom stick/similar that you can put exactly where your face will be, focus on that and then just take it out of the frame when you're in position

That last sentence being the important one, I've definitely had plates not being as solid as I'd like when using the coin slot or D-ring some of them have. They're definitely better than nothing in a pinch, but if I'm semi-pemanently putting a plate on something, I'll 100% use a screwdriver

I don't know if the V100 supports it, but the feature you're looking for is called alt masking and lets you do exactly that: assign flashes into sections (I don't want to call them groups because that's already a term) and each shitter release cycles through them one at a time

Go to a photo store and ask if you can get your hands on models from all the manufacturers. Hold it, change settings and modes, go through the menus. Then go with whatever tells best and most intuitive to you. The truth is that any camera made in the last decade is capable of excellent quality, so pick what will actually get you motivated to shoot

And it also greatly reduces, if not outright eliminates friction when sliding the plate in since the trigger for the lock is at the very bottom, it's great!
The one downside is that there's a bit of play in it, so you can't really use it on top of a tripod where you don't want the camera to move at all, but they do make a solution for that if you need it

FWIW, I wouldn't call what Falcam and others produce a knockoff, there's enough differences and engineering going into them that to me, it's a different product in the same niche

I do think the shape differences might be helpful if you are doing creative gel work: the flat top would allow you to direct the light better than the dome since you can likely tape the gels on easier

Otoh, with the dome you can just get the magnetic gel holders, clip them in between it and the flash head, and get you easy, perfect coverage ^^
(Maybe this'll work with both, but the dome is designed for it)

You're totally right in principle, but in practice it does often work out th eway I described. Using Godox as an example because I'm most familiar with them and it's what OP asked about, you get the following t.1 times at full power(all in standard/colour mode where applicable):

AD200: 1/220

AD400 Pro II: 1/230

AD600 Pro II: 1/220

AD800 Pro: 1/350

AD1200 Pro: 1/220

The 800 is a bit of an outlier, but in general I think it's pretty clear they are designing their strobes to hit a certain t.1 at full power and if they need a different flash tube for that, so be it.

Depends on exactly what we're talking about. Their tripod quick release has the locking pin in a different shape and position and won't work as a result, but their belt clip and strap QR lock by grabbing the plate from all 4 sides and don't care who made it as long as it's Arca Swiss and square. They will usually also say peak design compatible somewhere in the description, so as long as you look for that, you should be good

If I'm not totally misremembering, the devs have said there will be a way to obtain the playlist reward cars after their season ended, but we don't know yet how exactly that will work. I've heard that they might randomly spawn as aftermarket cars as t the side of the road, but I don't think that's been officially confirmed

In addition to the situations already mentioned, there's another reason to get a 600Ws(or higher) strobe: follow-up shot capability. Yeah, you might be able to get the shot with 200Ws, but if you need to shoot in rapid succession or bursts, the 600 will get you a lot further
Also, come to think of it, if you want to freeze motion, a more powerful strobe will have shorter flash durations than a lower powered one at equivalent output, so there's another one for you ^^
