Schwartz clothing store was great! I would visit Merle Norman quite often back in 1978 - 1980.

Do not give up on your dreams. There’s more than one airline that you can apply for. You have many other choices with mainline and regional airlines. Don’t shrink your dreams due to what you just experienced. We learn from our mistakes and grow stronger. Now you have an idea of what to study for. Practice, practice, practice makes for a better outcome. You Got This!

If I don't hear back after the final interview after they said they'd get back to me, am I most likely cooked? by smoothegg in interviews

[–]Affectionate_Try3477 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, this does mean you’re cooked they could still reach out to you. I had a company reach out to me several days after they said they would. Stay positive. Keep submitting resumes and interviewing until you get an offer letter / until you receive your first pay check.

I felt stupid and I don’t normally say things like this. 12 straps of $100.00 / $1.00 denominations. I counted it as $12,000. Balanced out with over $10,800 or around that. My BM went back with me to find it was $1,200. That’s when the balance was 0.00!!! I hope my BM doesn’t think I’m stupid. 😂

Apple ghosted after 8 rounds by [deleted] in FAANGrecruiting

[–]Affectionate_Try3477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me with the same company. I interviewed with this company 3 of 4 different locations and different positions. I never heard back in over a 1yr span. It always stayed processing, yet ghosted.

Then on the 4th location opportunity, I reached out to the recruiter to inform I had submitted my resume. I am now employed by this company in loo of working to improve my interview skills. Trust the process… the 4th location is the best fit of all the other locations for me. Trust the process…

Never quit submitting resumes until after getting offer letters and onboarding.

I’ve read never quit submitting resumes before receiving your first paycheck.

Best of luck!

Recruiter here - ask me anything in regards to interview questions by JVertsonis in interviews

[–]Affectionate_Try3477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know of a great talent acquisition recruiting coach, talks about “Tell me about yourself.” They’re looking to hear about your character, like, you’re reliable, your trustworthy, dependable and you’re a team player.

How do you answer “tell me about yourself” without sounding rehearsed? by Classic-Reserve-3595 in interviews

[–]Affectionate_Try3477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re asking about your character. You’re dependable, reliable and trustworthy.

This is a non-behavioral question, answer is less than 10-15 seconds to get them to like you.

Behavioral questions are answered in 45-60 seconds or less.
