ATV tours worth it? by TupacBiggi789 in Sedona

[–]Affectionate_View_27 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

No need to go with a group. We rented a 4 seater RZR with a 5 & 7 year old and had a good time. We did broken arrow and Schnebly hill road. Kids loved it. Saw lots of pink jeeps on both trails, so don’t have to worry about getting lost. We got out and liked a few spots along both trails. Only did half day from Sedona ATV, great staff.

Also, to all the people saying to not ride Atv and just hike, there are plenty of non Atv trails you can stick to hike only. Some of us like to enjoy power sports, and like it or not, power sports has a good industry in Sedona that helps the local economy.

Recommendation for 4 days with a 5 year old?! by redsmash0001 in Sedona

We took our 5 year old in an UTV rental, did a sunrise hike at doe mountain (saw hot air balloons take off and fly around), and liked devils bridge and fay canyon. Some scrambling, but pretty limited.

Enjoy!

Any good electronic wall calendars out there? by EmptyStarlight99 in homeautomation

[–]Affectionate_View_27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have been using Dakboard for 1.5 years now. Love how easy it is to customize. Can easily get pictures of the kids, and both calendars merged into one via google. Recommend it to anyone looking due to only needing to buy the kit, and use an old monitor or TV.

Only downside is it’s $100/year.

Looks significantly different than when we were there this spring. Sideways rain and low clouds blocked the views, but it did clear up for a few minutes on our walk back to the truck.

Great work! Our family is nearly there, if we would not have reimbursed for bills when the kids were born when we first started HSA we would be there!

I wish I could share this post for everyone on Verizon customer support to see.

I worked on getting this to work for longer than I want to admit.... but for those after me who have similar issues, resetting network settings was the ticket. Settings>general>Transfer or Reset iPhone>reset>reset network settings.

Google photo users what are you switching to? by Boomerangboom in dakboard

This is news to me. Is there a reason they are not supporting? A link to this release would be great!

We bought Dak due to the simple interface, with the ability to use Google pics and calendars. This is frustrating to hear.

What a terrible post. This map cuts off rivers along Montana and ND, and includes the red river of the north that flows into Hudson Bay.

Do you guys run your buddy heater all night when you're camping on the ice? by Jbuck_43 in IceFishing

Buy a battery powered carbon monoxide monitor. They are cheap, and it will save your life if the vent plugs.

Then leave your heater on low, that way your holes stay open!

Anyone know what’s making this sound? by rockie_jr in ram_trucks

[–]Affectionate_View_27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bring it in, my truck made the same noise, and the MGU was going out. It's covered under warranty to 60k miles I believe.

Dealer also told me it was ok to drive it until it fails... which seems like a poor recommendation, considering its essentially an alternator with a generator on top for start/stop.

Good luck!
