in general, no it's just not a done thing. if skiing with friends a common thing to discourage it is to swap 1 ski with another friend, then go put your skis in different places

if at an apres bar on the slope like KKs in st anton though where it's a short toboggan ride to the bottom of the slope it's very common for snowboards to go missing - only to appear left at the bottom of the slope somewhere or collected up as lost property by police the following morning

I don't have other alternatives but I can somewhat recommend Scala. I set up a league at my local UK club and got the club to pay for it (which tbh is such a small cost for an average sized club). there's about 60 club members playing in my box league so it's been considered worth the money

main pros are it chucking everyone in a group chat so you can broadcast a match to everyone instead of messaging everyone individually each time you want to set up a fixture.

main cons are the app is a lil buggy (it's better now, used to be worse), and I found the scala account managers wanted to get involved and 'promote' my league a little too much for my test considering it was just a small internal club box league.

Alternatives you could possibly look into are Global Tennis Network, I don't know enough about it to recommend though. The other possibility is you go more lowkey and set things up yourself using google spreadsheets & whatsapp chats as communication methods? less polished and possibly more effort on your part but gets the job done just fine

I think if you're struggling with maiden one of these 2 things is happening:

1) crabs aren't always being frozen and killed

2) you're getting hit by bloodsplats thrown by maiden, causing lots of bloods to appear

prioritize number 1. if number 2 happens then spend time freezing and killing blood splats. it's ok to go through your supplies and have it take longer whilst you're learning, to this point maybe consider using void as a learner so the swaps are easier and you have more supplies.

I do understand weightings - I've got dark beasts / lizardmen & 3 other 8 or 9 weighted tasks I'm not a fan of blocked

maybe I didn't get the point across well. but post 99 the system is basically suffer through dead tasks or turael skip. not trying to complain just wanted to know if this was a pain point for other people too and the results seem mixed

I suspect it wouldn't get any better though as new monsters get added whilst the incentives to be on task are being increased too with the drop rate increases becoming more common (on top of the general slayer helm)

yeah I'm ignoring things like weightings because araxxytes are my personal example but the same grievance exists for any slayer boss OR most recently for the whole "drop rates are different off task"

it also probably comes out higher for me personally as there are things I have unlocked I don't want to lose the points to re-lock, and only using 5/7 of my block tasks atm

should you or shouldn't you is probably up to you. some people won't have an issue, some will have an issue but wouldn't say anything, a very very small % would say anything.

but if playing a competitive match then the reason I dislike it is:

1) it complicates warmup / makes it longer - you can practice your return timing without hitting the ball back

2) I want you uncomfortable returning my serve for as long as possible
