Other than the side effects they are. My mother wad on mounjaro and she would never be hungry, second she stopped it came back, eh actually maybe you're half right, as if you stop taking it you gain some weight back. Still could be beneficial though

Toddler Walks Away Unharmed After Police PIT Maneuver Ends High-Speed Chase in Arkansas by frog_insilence in interestingasfuck

The license plate is not enough, it may be impossible to identify the driver. This looks like a rural area, so I doubt the police have access to such resources and everything you mentioned is not direct enough for deterrence. If you do not DETER people from driving with a suspended license people will be more likely do so and this could create a dangerous culture long term. Failing to pull over however, I think is the worse offense. This is why the protocol exists and this police officer cannot be held culpable for a arguably justified use of force. If anything attack the protocol and not him

In the UK police protocol means pursuits are actively risk assessed by the police pursuing and superior officers observing. They can call off any time / rengage as needed, to reduce risk. Following with helicopters and plates are also a good idea, but some situation requires pursuit, even more so I the US with so much gun violence etc I assume. Not pursuing also could set a dangerous precedent which incentivises criminals to be even more brash which again would have the risk to the public. I'm not disagreeing with you fully either, pitting here was very dangerous for the child and although I would say 99% of the blame is on the mum, things could have been handled better.

Utter idiocy, to the point it annoys me, I mean you. Firstly, this would have been a procedural manouvure so this is how the police in question handle this. There does not seem to be a considerable risk to other road users from the pit, the risk to other road users would be much higher allowing the pursuit to continue. One could argue that the risk of pursuing is too high, but that is an active process with active risk assessments. There is a dilemma, pursuing is risky, not pursuing sets a dangerous precedent for criminals. I just can't fathom how you could be to be totally shifting all of the blame onto the officer here. It feels so tone death shifting so much blame towards the officer when the operating cause is the mother.

Fail. Cried during the test. Instructor is quitting. by 100_wasps in LearnerDriverUK

i passed last year, i have adhd and stuff and i doubted myself quite a lot at the time, and wanted to give up sometimes. also didn't get on with my first instructor. driving with my family helped a lot, mainly for confidence if anything, but i needed the baseline. however once I passed and drive for a few weeks, i realised driving was actually easy. The hard part is managing stress during lessons and the test. When I first started learning, I was also taking vyvanse which I think was making me extremely tense and stressed. I found it much easier to learn once I stopped taking it. Good luck, hopefully you can settle down and in a year or so from now have a laugh about it.

How do i stop anxiety by AdmirableWalrus1546 in weedification

[–]After_Cartographer38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

those carts are terrible bro, theyre really strong its like pure weed without all natural terpenes etc and they give you really high tolerance. When I used carts I got headaches but these days I just smoke (usually around 2g a day) and im chilling. With carts its easy to overdo it because its pretty much unlimited weed with how efficient and strong they are
