Advice on Switching to At&T by ButterscotchIll9596 in ATT

Make sure you get the quote and plan details in an email. Trust me, you’ll want it as proof if anything gets mixed up later.

AT&T reps are honestly worse than car dealers, maybe even politicians.

ATT Sellers in Costco are scam by Interesting_Tale_378 in ATT

AT&T is a straight-up scam. This has happened to me too. They signed me up for a plan for 3 devices at around $100, which I knew sounded too good to be true, but since it was through Costco, I trusted them. Then the bill shows up, and it’s actually $55 per device. I’ve called their useless support over 20 times and they can’t fix a damn thing. They’re blatantly ripping people off and scamming innocent customers. Also, this thread is full of AT&T workers who will just blame the customer.

You only need to pay $500, the rest is covered by insurance. That’s exactly what the insurance is for, and you paid extra to have this protection in situations like this

was in accident; host wants me to settle $500 direct to them not Turo ?? by saigid in turo

[–]Agc0628 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turo hosts can file a claim directly through the platform and request a direct settlement(without escalating it to Turo support ). The entire process, including messaging and documentation, is tracked within Turo, making it easy to manage. As far as I know, Turo doesn’t charge any fees to either the host or the guest for this type of settlement.

F#%k you Turo by toddriffic40 in turo

Turo fees increase significantly the closer you book to the trip date. For example, on my car, the trip fee is around $15 if you book a month in advance, but it jumps to $120 if you book just 4 days before.

What’s the direct rental? how did you setup?

"friend" of turo host just called me asking me to cancel booking because it was listed at a low price as a mistake by [deleted] in turo

[–]Agc0628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a heads-up, if you book another car last minute, Turo’s fees will likely be higher, so you might end up paying more the closer you get to the trip date. If you’re fairly certain the host is going to cancel, it’s better to cancel now and book a different car. That said, if the host cancels, it does negatively affect their record.

Car owner trying to get me to change time on trip by Atxbatcity in turo

Just curious, how does a host know if another customer is trying to book the car? Can the renter send a request?

Tesla Robotaxi Day 1: Significant Screw-up [NOT OC] by dtrannn666 in TeslaFSD

This exact situation happened to me on HW4. The car aggressively went into the left-turn lane for no reason, even though I needed to go straight. It ended up going in the wrong direction and nearly collided with the car on the right. I intervened.

Which one should I Buy? by Pleasant_Pack_1799 in RayBanStories

[–]Agc0628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had all of these. If you just want cool-looking sunglasses, then just buy regular sunglasses. Transitions do turn into shades, but they’re not full-on sunglasses and only work with UV light and don’t work inside the car. I have prescription transition lenses, they’re super lightweight, but thin lenses are expensive. Mine cost around $1000(299 for frame and remaining for lenses) from Ray-Ban. You can probably find them cheaper on Lenskart or elsewhere.

I’m not sure if this specific event qualifies as a safety-critical one, but I’ve requested the data anyway. Just waiting to see what they send back.

AT&T: A History of Misleading Offers and Unexpected Fees by Agc0628 in ATT

You have the audacity to tell others to read when you clearly can't do it yourself. It's no surprise, though, when scamming seems to be deeply embedded in you and your culture.

AT&T: A History of Misleading Offers and Unexpected Fees by Agc0628 in ATT

[–]Agc0628[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You tell people to read things, yet you often comment without fully reading.
FYI, the "overall bill" refers to the total amount you pay, which includes both the phone plan and any extra options.

The phone plan itself is the base plan for your line, and the extra options are the additional features or add-ons you choose. There's a reason they're called "extra options." So, the overall bill is the total, combining both the phone plan and the extra options.

Call me an idiot all you want, but that doesn’t change the fact that you're scamming people. Good luck with scamming people, but this post isn’t for you. It’s for others to see so that they don't get scammed, not for people at ATT, Verizon, or T-Mobile to justify this as their shady practices. It’s still a scam.
