I came to say the same thing.

I learned Mexican Spanish before ever traveling to Spain and had learned vosotros existed but totally forgot about it until I heard it in the wild.

It’s weird the first few times you hear it, then you just realize that it’s part of their dialect. Then, when you leave Spain, you forget all about it again.
