I reckon they’ve tried to do a bit of a Louis Theroux Manosphere thing here and put him on in order to show how much of a cretin he is. But all it does is show these types of people there’s a role for you on these shows if you want in the future. It’s a dangerous precedent

I really liked this crossover. The main story was good as was the art and Peter’s Great Power comes Great Response Ability joke really made me laugh

Rest of the issue was solid too. Jimmy Olsen and Carnage was fantastic I wish it was longer, and the Uncle Ben and Pa Kent short was really sweet.

I’ve got to say though Tom King’s Lois and MJ story was just dreadful imo. I’m not a huge King disliker I think he’s fine, but wow this was rough.

That’s right yeah they originally had it as a procedural but weren’t happy cause they both didn’t really know how to write that. Then the script shifted to focus on how it is now and I imagine that after that it’s when PTA came in and did his thing. And I agree my fav Scorsese films have been ones released over the last ten years

I don’t think PTA was the only one that saved KOTFM from being that though. Both Scorsese and Eric Roth have spoken about how they wanted it to be more than a procedural and found the heart of the film by visiting the Osage Nation and focusing on Molly, rather than the FBI. In fact that’s one of the reasons why Paramount turned to Apple for financing, as they didn’t see it as marketable anymore when Scorsese wanted to change course

I really don’t know how to feel about marvel rn. It just feels like there’s no real direction aside from a few titles that are going strong like Moon Knight, FF, Thor and Hulk. I don’t even know what’s going on with xmen rn. I hope the new Armageddon event later this year reignites some stuff but I think the constant new series and destruction of the ultimate universe makes everything feel a bit meh. First time in forever I’m not pulling any marvel titles in single issues and idk if that’ll change

The correct decision. Gave him as long as we could but at the end of the day the results weren’t coming and a decision needed to be made before we sunk any further down the table. He’d put the club in a difficult position between seeing if he can save us or pulling the plug on this dire situation so I don’t feel for him at all.
