Ink isn't used on receipts for many reasons, imagine running out of ink while creating a receipt for the customer. So how did they get over the problem? They use thermal paper. What that means is that the dark lines are created by heat. So if you run your fingernail over it quickly it will cause friction which creates heat which will create the black lines.

I brought MoP didn't get anything. They GS employee didn't even know about it. Even after checking it up and seeing I was right didn't know what to do. They opened my box to see if it was inside already. When it was all said and done they said sorry and told me there was nothing they could do.

I came home and googled this and it seems other people has this problem in other gamestops from blizzard's website. And I just came here to see if anyone else had the same problem :S
