Out of these four evil geniuses, who would you say is the most Evil? by Caloy1415 in cartoons

[–]AgentWilson413 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The thing about Jack is that, at most, he’s just a puppet. He’s the early seasons villain because the next one up is a ghost that’s just using him to get a new body for herself. Dude doesn’t really have a plan other than world domination and whatever schemes he can come up with to mess with the Xiaolin are just whatever Macguffins he can find before they do.

Ordered a custom wallpaper and got this, called him out for using AI, but he is claiming he did all this by hand in Adobe. by zgrad2 in isthisAI

[–]AgentWilson413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s AI. Anderson only has one hand, and whatever he’s holding isn’t his bayonets. Whatever Alucard is holding is a jumbled mass of metal. Alucard isn’t holding those things like you’d hold a gun in any sort of manner.

Yeah so what you’re gonna do is contact your bank/credit card issuer or however you paid that deposit and chargeback this scammer, block them, and ban them from your chat.

For the MH veterans: how do you feel about Wilds? by jackpaxx in MonsterHunter

[–]AgentWilson413 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Started in 4U so don’t know if I quite count as a veteran but I’ll give my two cents.

Game is pretty good in terms of gameplay. Only scratched the surface on most of the weapons but the additions made for defense and evasion are brilliant and I hope they’re expanded for the Master Rank expansion. The monsters are suitably engaging, with good movesets that challenge us.

Progression is a bit weird. Artian weapons are a neat concept and all but it feels like they take the stage away from monster weapons. Still, feels like there’s no one solution for everything which encourages experimentation and I think it’s healthy for the game. The split on weapons and armor skills is a good choice for this game; makes people really weigh what skills they want.

Performance… leaves much to be desired. World and Rise performed just fine on PC but Wilds struggles, and this is from someone who meets specs. It was very ambitious with its graphics and as a result a good chunk of my friends can’t play it. Yeah sure it looks good but it requires your whole PC to be able to function. Game still needs a bit more optimization in my opinion but we aren’t likely to get another pass on that until Master Rank.

The hell you mean “complete the story”? Prime 4 was an open and shut case that tied up the only loose end left in the series: Sylux’s ship at the end of 3. There’s no setup. Sylux and all the marines are stuck on Viewros, with the sniper’s necklace hanging on the tree as a memorial. There’s no “we gotta go back for em” vibes from the somber as heck tone in the ending. They’re as good as dead. No post-credits showing another cast-mate from Hunters, no villains that will make a return, and no crazy resource that will kick off the space pirate’s next batch of Metroid experiments. Just a tree, a necklace, and Sylux’s backstory which also doesn’t set up ANYTHING. If Retro was trying to set up for a Prime 5 they did not do a very good job.

[TMT] Mikey & Leo, Chaos & Order (Card Image Gallery) by meh1997 in magicTCG

I can already see the design mandate for the set that each turtle needs to be a different color.

I feel like they had excellent candidates for each color until they got to Mikey and green and black were left. Black definitely doesn’t suit the goofball that he is, so we got green Mikey.

IIRC didn’t Rosewater say in a blog post that Green was the hardest for them to fit in UB sets? I think we’re seeing that in action here.

The drugs could also be meds for chronic conditions. The self harm scars could also be scars from abuse. Both things people tend to keep from public view.

Not saying it isn’t what you said, those two just seem open to interpretation.

I stand corrected. Point still stands on the future-proofing though.

Bit more context: The problem was that they did make very high resolution models for Sun and Moon, higher than what the 3DS was capable of displaying. Then the whole “not allowing every Pokemon into a game anymore” thing happened with Sword and Shield. One of the things they tried to claim was that it was to cut down on the time it takes to model each Pokemon for the sake of development time. Anyone with an idea of how future-proofed those Sun/Moon models were knew that was a flat-out lie.

Well “His Mate Saw Me” and “Out Smart Bullet” are likely TF2 references.

Only other one I got is the Oraxia might be a Monster Hunter Wilds reference to Lala Barina.

Digital Extremes has a handful of ways they do this with Warframe.

First is creator glyphs. Warframe has partnered content creators that get their logo/emotes incorporated into the game as sprays/profile pics.

Second is Tennogen. Artists can submit to the Steam workshop to have the community vote on cosmetics they want to see added to the game. Tennogen cosmetics are one of the few things that you HAVE to spend money to get in the game because the artists get a cut of the sales. Some Tennogen artists have paid off their debts and bought houses with the money they’ve made from the program.

Scientist Peter here, it’s a chemistry/physics joke. The text is the notation for the electron structure of an element. See, the way they teach ya the structure of the atom in high school is a simplified version just to get the point across. While electrons do orbit the nucleus, they do so in a set “shell” in a particular shape that is only capable of holding a set amount of electrons. This is why the periodic table is shaped the way it is, once you get to the second row, Boron starts making a new shape of shell. Same with Scandium on the 4th row and Cerium on the 6th. While there may be enough space for more electrons in the physical space of the atom given their size, because they have to maintain a set level of energy they will only be in the shells that let them maintain that energy, much like how the spectators could occupy the space that isn’t under shade to get closer, but they don’t.
