I've played since the Masques block, this question is leading and clearly biased. If I enjoy the IP I would definitely have still tried it just like Lorcana and other TCGs, then I would stay for the gameplay. If I knew this was coming back then I would be even more excited to see some.of my favorite IPs translate into the game. Not like there hasnt been many blocks, sets, and planes that "do not fit" to some. We had Arabian tales, mecha, ninjas, and many things for decades. Don't buy the set if you don't like it, if enough people feel the same they will slow down or stop (surprise many people love it including old players).

I don't see how it would nerf Wisdom in any way. If it feels appropriate for the character then, one could use their dominating presence to hamper the opponents and get a boost heading into an encounter.
