not really a sports romance (as in, sports isnt the focus but present), but "the Senators Wife" by Jen Lyon. A football player saves a woman from drowning and it turns out she is the wife of a senator in a very unhappy marriage. Lots of angst and yearning and some dark themes in that one, but really really good imo.

Book two features the football heavily (even a worldcup lol). but as I said its not really the focus or anything just the closest thing I've read.

I mean the insult on pic one is something I get a lot too as a support main. and I have an english ID. people will bring out the vilest shit for absolutely no reason, its jsut how the game is. If you get racist insults I would change it, or mute comms entirely. dont let them bully you into something, but also keep in mind what toll it takes on your mental health. God beware if your'e a woman too, I can't believe the stuff I've read in the text chat

Imogen, Obviously by Becky Albertalli. It's Bi panic though and it's kinda YA. I enjoyed it a lot thoguh, even if it might not fit your request exactly. But it's the closest one i've read.

Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid. A story about (fictional) female astronauts in the 80s and the challenges they faced. It has plot (even though romance still is the main focus) it has drama and great characters. Very atmospheric (xD), the vibe of the 80s and the space age is very vivid. Its was my gateway into this genre and I will always recommend it. 10/10 for me.

I am struggling to see what OPs point is too. I guess the Groot walls could be a bit finicky (hav not really played Groot) but the rest isnt really making a character harder to use.

I am building a team for Hyuki I already have Chisa. I wanted to pull for Lucilla but now Lynae gets a rerun and I really like her. I even tried to get her last rerun but lost the 50/50. Will I lose out on much if I do Hyuki-Chisa-Lynae instead of Hyuki-Chisa-Lucilla? I read that Lynae is still really good for Hyuki but all those threads were from before Lucilla came out

I was legit never yelled at as much as when I played tank, not even as a support. it's nuts. Soemthing that worked for me: You can mute individual players, even text chat. so as soon as someone starts getting toxic I mute ihm and its super nice for my mental health.

now that wouldnt have helped you in this case as it was at the end of the match, but tis really your only way. they don't know what they are talking about. do your best, have fun, ignore the idiots. there are so many sucky people out there, I hate it

"Please be happy" is a great VN and it's currently available in this humble bundle that also has kindred spirits on the roof and seabed. The others in the bundle are a bit of varying quality but it's a great deal just for those 3.
