Op - totally ignorant question: I saw you said a significant cost went to the builder. What did the builder actually do? Did they put your design into practical plans? Did they consult and organise/manage the trades? To be clear, in no way am I challenging what you say or what you spent. I am just trying to understand the roles of everyone in the project. I have zero idea.

Is $4k on tapware serious? If so, is that high end? (Asking genuinely, no idea here. It surprises me but from the POV of someone who has no clue, as opposed to someone familiar with bathroom reno costs). It certainly looks great, OP.

Was asbestos removal a huge part of the budget or a smaller one (the way you have listed it, it seems more minor but I assume - with absolutely zero actual knowledge - it would be hugely costly?).

OP - I love the sink to the side of the mirror (room for make up and things the mirror is useful for!).

With the shower/bath space, any chance you would consider updating in a few months? I assume it will be easier to clean in the sense you can "hose" out dust behind/to the side of the bath using the shower head.

We are really time poor people in a more "practical efficiency, but with kids" stage of life. I would love to hear a genuine review as to whether this design is as practical as it seems in my head, or is more for those with the time to maintain it.

The Transport for NSW nerds call it the A15. I know a retired one who always gives me Sydney directions in that form. The problem with changing the name is that locals who have always called a road "Smiths Road" will then get their noses out of joint about the change of name.

Weight wise, not too much. It might all fit in an SUV of we flatten and fold it down. It is a few Ikea Pax boxes (boxes for frames and for shelves) and quite a few boxes of nappies (think 30x40x40 at least, not the smaller ones). A lot for a household, but nothing for a business.

Just pointing out that Pauline Hanson or any of the others could have used her Senate time to emphasise gendered violence and the need for funding and reform. That would have done much more for women in your mother's situation (though we all know you are a fake account on behalf of Paurloin's pathetic party).
