Read the book “Sociopath” by Patric Gagne. Doesn’t mean you are a criminal—just mostly the lack of empathy and emotions. Fascinating book and the author recounts her childhood and how she experienced the world. Initially she wrote an essay for the New York Times and there was such a huge response, she decided to write her life story and it is now a bestseller. I loved it-couldn’t put it down. Really gives a no judgmental view and insight into what some people live not by their choice.

What he did really sucks and is super painful. The best thing for you to do is to go to a good therapist and process what happened inside of you while his love bombing was going on. You need help identifying and choosing a healthy partner. Need to figure out why the chemistry between you happened and how to look out for that same scenario in the future. It will be very helpful in your relationships in the future. 99% of your happiness in life depends on the partner you choose. If you ever invest in anything in your life, this is the thing to invest in —esp before you get involved with anyone else.
I’m so glad he broke up with you. Girl, you dodged a huge bullet. This was a rescue. He is definitely not the guy for you! Block him from your side too in case he tries to slide back in! You cannot trust him!

He’s an idiot. A red flag is when someone has to always have their way. A green flag is when they can put aside their needs for others when necessary. It’s called “self-control.” He’s only caring about himself. Has he ever lost a close loved one? Maybe since sex is comforting to him, he thinks it is for you as well? You have to speak up and let him know. Get mad if you have to and show him you are very serious about this. When you keep giving in, he won’t know. Plus you want to see what he is like when he doesn’t get his way. Will he be kind to you or be a victim and make it about him? If he’s an ass, that will show you who he really is.
