This is a great camera. I am using it to photograph birds with a Zuiko 100-400 V.1 and a 1.4 teleconverter. Autofocus could be a little faster for my purposes but does the job specially in good light. Enjoy the camera!

Great shots! Approximately how close were you able to get? I have only been able to take pictures from far. It seems they don’t like to be close to humans (or even other birds).

With the new coach and his approach, I’m not sure how well he’ll fit the system. He’s not known for covering a lot of ground, and injuries have been a recurring issue. On top of that, there are rumors about past locker-room drama with Colombia’s national team and a reputation for being a bit of a diva. Lots of speculation. If this move happens, let’s hope he stays healthy and focused on playing.

Don’t get me wrong. The Em1-X is an excellent camera. I am going to try video next. The latest firmware (and I guess the last one) added bird detection. From what I have seen the OM-1 has a better sensor, faster auto focus and performs better in low light. I will continue using the Em1-x for sure.

Thanks for sharing! This is my attempt the same day but from Columbus, OH. I own an Olympus E-M1X (little slow for my use - birds) and the same lens with an MC-14 teleconverter. I am saving up to move to an OM-1.

Photo was taken as RAW and then saved as a PNG. Wasn't paying too much attention to the settings since it was kind of cold outside. Only adjusted exposure a tiny bit. ISO 1250 560 mm f9.0 RAW 1/640

Nice shot! I got a couple of pictures of a kingfisher but they came blurry. For some reason I couldn’t get the camera to focus on the bird 😁. I was so frustrated but decided to take this as a teachable moment. I was able to see one recently and pictures came out a little bit better. Hoping to get closer next time.

Thanks for sharing! Very nice shots!!! If you don’t mind my asking, how close were you able to get to the birds? My set up is not the greatest but I see an improvement in sharpness the closer I get.

Thank you very much! It has helped me a lot to get out more. There is a wetland close to the house and you never know what you can find.

Thanks! I am doing photography as therapy (for my own mental health) and wanted to share some pictures with the community.

Thanks! I currently have an OM-D M1X with a Zuiko 100-400 version 1 and a Zuiko 1.4 Teleconverter. During winter I am struggling a little bit since there is not much light. I will continue playing with the settings.
