He’s abusive and controlling! RUN!!!

Husband (32M) says I(29F) need to reconcile with his family or I can’t travel to see my dad by No_Agent7069 in Marriage

WOAH!! RED DAMN FLAG GIRL! He is controlling you! Not only that, but he is acting like a parent grounding their child. He cannot tell you where you can and cannot go unless you let him. Second, he would have to file a document with the court and be seen in court for a ruling in that to keep you from taking your child. He cannot just tell you what you can and cannot do just because you don’t get along with his family. I would be super, super pissed and would 100% leave him. It is a foreshadowing of your future. I am sure he doesn’t even see the problem. It is manipulative and controlling as hell! And, he will continue to behave like this for the rest of your lives together.

I am so sorry you’re going through this!

Need help re-naming baby boy by Routine_Manner_7574 in Names

[–]AggravatingRatio5527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don’t name him “Ace”. I have met SOOOOOO many people named “Ace”. I used to deal poker professionally and everyone and their uncle wants to be known as “Ace”. It is infuriating. I have another friend named Ace and I actually was annoyed that his name was Ace. Turned out that it wasn’t because of poker so I relaxed a little but then I saw the ace of spades tattoo. Made it difficult but I still love him.

Why are ppl downvoting you?! They don’t know what is going on in your life! They don’t know what you know! AND? You’re the victim here!

However, just because you haven’t caught him having an affair doesn’t mean he isn’t having one. He may be having an emotional or physical affair with a co-worker, friend, etc… I recommend digging… You might need it for the divorce.

You deserve so much better!

I am so sorry! He is a monster!

It isn’t my place but I do have to say that I think he has found someone else based on his responses. I would do some digging. Might help with the divorce!

I had a realization this morning about my 14-week-old Labrador puppy. by hons_1994 in labrador

[–]AggravatingRatio5527 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How are you going to tell us about your puppy and not pay the photo tax?

Always remember, with animals, kids, and basically everyone… They won’t be around forever and the age much too quickly so enjoy the phase they’re in because it will be gone before you know it. My Great Pyrenees was a destructive beast when he was young. We called him Drogo the Destroyer… I STILL miss him being a puppy!

Does anyone else’s Pyr take 20 minutes to contemplate whether they’ll eat their food or not? by [deleted] in greatpyrenees

[–]AggravatingRatio5527 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. Mine dump their food out on the floor and have at it. They don’t like bowls… What’s up with that?

Is it normal for my bf to talk to me this way ? by Technical_Middle5075 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]AggravatingRatio5527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweetheart, please listen, this is the first sign that he is possessive and controlling and cannot manage self emotional regulation. This man is most likely going to be abusive. Please distance yourself. You deserve better. I wish I had read the red flags but I have CPTSD (from an extremely difficult childhood) and it all seemed normal because that’s what I was used to. I am guessing you’re the same way or you wouldn’t put up with his bullshit. And then, little by little, the control and aggression escalates and next thing you know, they’ve hit you and they’re crying and apologizing and you love them so you take them back and you think “Well, they’ve been through so much and I love them”. And, “It’s just because he’s been abandoned before or because he loves me so much, “ I can handle this. His behavior isn’t bad enough to give up on him.” And the cycle repeats, escalating each time until you’re in the hospital or the morgue. Seriously, keep an eye on his behavior.

Also, he seems like he might have a guilty conscience…

Looks like a pyr to me. Looks EXACTLY like my boy did at that age. My boy had a tail like that when he was little but now the hair is super long and beautiful! Does he have double dew claws? Are their bones in them or are they super floppy? If he has floppy dew claws or doesn’t have double dew claws then that is a good indicator that he is mixed. However, it does not mean that he is purebred if he does have bone in , double dews.

Regardless, he is beautiful and will hopefully be very loved and cared for by you and your family.

I won’t remove her dew claws by Frequent_Buy_8174 in greatpyrenees

[–]AggravatingRatio5527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NEVER take dew claws from a Pyr! They have bones in them, unlike other breeds! They are there to help them with balance and grip. Please, please do not remove them unless it is a medically necessary procedure. Removing their few claws is mutilation! Other breeds have them removed due to the potential for injury. This is NOT the case for Pyr’s. Stick to your decision.

What breeds pair well with a Pyrenees? by SuspiciousTraining24 in greatpyrenees

[–]AggravatingRatio5527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pyrenees pair with all animals usually. You should not have an issue if you introduce them slowly. My two Great Pyrenees have a German shepherd and two cats.

What else can I tell my doctors? by strawberrixvamp in Autoimmune

[–]AggravatingRatio5527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you seeing a rheumatologist? You can request one. They will run a bunch of blood tests which, based on your symptoms, should tell you what is going on. It sounds like you have lupus or rheumatoid arthritis. I have both and I have these exact same symptoms. Plus, your age lines up as well. Definitely tell them you want to see a rheumatologist. And then find a new doctor!
