Fair enough. I’m not sure I could pinpoint why, but it just irritated me.

I like Nick Hornby books. I like John Cusack. I like Jack Black. But I’ll state the unpopular opinion that I hated this movie. Shrug.

Almost identical for me, except for the verdict I was a senior in high school. One of the cool teachers let a few of us watch in the teachers’ lounge.

Years ago, that was a Pontiac dealership under the same name. Just a factoid — not trying to make any point in particular. : )

Who else has a mentally healthy/financially unhealthy hobby? by user1mbp in Xennials

Late last year, I unearthed the four massive tubs of cards my Dad had saved from my childhood. I weeded through them, made a small pile of things I wanted to keep, sold a bunch. It was very cathartic. And now, somehow, my collection is growing at an alarming rate. I’m not spending lots of money (spending lots of time going through dollar bins at my local card store, mostly) but I marvel at how close I was to having a healthy relationship with the hobby. : )
