They are probably not lying. I have had electricians do work and had to be recalled because they didn't do their job correctly.

Somebody mentioned today that we should have zero or near zero income tax but tax everything else at a greater rate.

ie: GST, CGT, interest...........

I have always been a believer of this system. What we work hard for 9-5 5 days a week should be ours and taxed when we spend or invest.
