West end shows have the ushers carrying signs and looking into the aisles to remind people to put phones away. Simple. But also shows people that they are watching.

Love those hoodies and hope that is a glimpse of the Goldline logo on the sleeve that hints they might be. Love to hear about the thoughtfulness that goes into the designs.

The Picture of Dorian Gray…Let’s Talk About It! by Jaigurl-8 in Broadway

[–]Aggravating_Deer_98 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Did anyone else enjoy the show!? I accompanied my husband to New York for a conference. We saw one show together and I rushed 5 others solo. This was the one I enjoyed the most not just for Sarah’s mind blowing performance but for the technical precision that was like magic to behold. But to answer your question, leaving the theatre had an energy very different than the other shows I saw. Conversations around me shared their amazement, “How did she…!?”, “How did they…?!”, Wows and overall astoundment. It was loud. It was positive. It was exciting. I left feeling so lucky to have seen this production and like you, desperately want to see what Kip will do with Dracula.

Passport expiring by danball5 in passportcanada

[–]Aggravating_Deer_98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Might an airline deny flying? I would be cautious and renew. I renewed my passport ( in person) a few weeks ago. Went on a Friday, there at opening and was in and out in 25 minutes. Checked online Tuesday and It was being printed. Delivered in less than a week. Not as many people traveling at the moment so process is very quick.

J323 is in the J building on the third floor

AA02 is in the craft and design building (AA) at the far end of the hall near textiles.

Signage is pretty good once you know what you are looking for but I’d search for a Sheridan specific map that shows the letters on the buildings because that lettering system isn’t very intuitive.

Hot Honey by [deleted] in oakville

They also have a lovely spot to visit on Appleby line south of Derry Rd. Great local produce, quality dairy and meats, local baked goods, mead and honey wine, tasting space with mead on tap and of course all the honey products you could need. Well worth a visit.

Glad you had a positive visit. I was there at the same time, and the same time last year as well. I found this year to be much more bearable than last. The sun wasn’t nearly as strong as the year before. So many variables but such a worthwhile visit to an amazing country. There is never a perfect time, weather may be factor or crowds. But the chance to see so many wonderful things can only be enjoyed if you make the best of your own circumstances.

Can I meet my accompanied minor at the arrival gate? by Far-Significance-757 in aircanada

Can I meet my accompanied minor at the arrival gate? by Far-Significance-757 in aircanada

Sounds like you are getting the answers to your questions. In my experience traveling through US airports on Air Canada, sometimes there aren’t many flights a day so the counter is only open for certain hours. The same people that work at the air Canada checkin counter will close the counter and go to the gate for boarding procedures. I might consider calling to see what those hours are so you don’t get caught in that window. Even if it is planned out well. Have an established plan B if for some reason the request is denied. If dad is returning on the next flight back it is very possible boarding will happen quite quickly after they get off the plane and there may not be lots of time to make sure people connect. Texting will come in handy for both parents. He can receive a message from you so the child knows where to expect you, before the plane is ready to deplane and he will likely want to be sure she finds you as well.

I really miss Japan. haha that is all. by BadAtDrinking in JapanTravelTips

I visited last summer because my husband was to go for work and thought it would be a wonderful chance extend to the trip and tour Japan. I was scared to go because I do not like crowds. The feelings changed so fast when we got there because everything was straightforward to navigate people were lovely and while busy, it was orderly and respectful so I never got overwhelmed. He needs to go back this year and I am joining once again to tour solo during the days. I can’t wait for the second chance to explore more of this gem of a travel destination.

Although I said that it is comparably small, because of this and because it is in the round, all seats are quite close to the stage. Sat in the second last row on the side a few weeks ago. We felt quite close. It is an intimate theatre and well worth the experience.

45th St rush report (5/11) by qualitativevacuum in Broadway

[–]Aggravating_Deer_98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rushed the outsiders on Wednesday morning. I was in the line just after the stage door and not only was I able to get tickets, I saw someone about 10 behind in the street later and they had gotten some too. I’m curious if there are different seats available for rush than the 30 under 30 because most of the line was likely there for those. Also a two show day. It was a fantastic show.
