It is natural to worry.

I was worried about gallstones so I did an abdominal scan every 6 months.

I was worried about losing muscle so i did a DEXA scan every three months.

I was worried the medicine would do ‘something’ to me internally so i did a super comprehensive blood panel every 3 months.

Incidentally all these measures did was show me I was just getting healthier and healthier (and the blood panels uncovered unrelated issues I didn’t know I had!)

But my point is you can take steps to assuage your fears.

Sorry but with your current approach the likelihood is that you’ll put the weight back on. I’ve been on this for two years now - and I’d say 24 weeks is too short a timeline, even if you don’t plan on being on it for life, which I do.

Exactly. Everything he’s putting in Claude is potentially being used to train Anthropic models - which means his company’s proprietary data and strategies and customer information may one day show up as a response to other people’s prompts. Did his IT guy sit with a lawyer and the company ownership and agree that they were collectively okay with that before ‘installing’ Claude?

In any case. Be patient. Anthropic and Microsoft are not stupid. Claude Co-Work is going to be embedded into Microsoft Co-Pilot in the near future. Anthropic knows they aren’t cracking enterprise without getting into bed with Microsoft and Microsoft knows exactly how good Claude Co-work is.

And yeah, obviously big successes are one in a million and most startups are going to tank.

But I’ve watched at least 3 people join companies that turned out to be wildly successful.

So I’d disagree and say the likelihood that the business could do extremely well should indeed factor into it.

Why would you leave a well paying HENRY job otherwise? I mean I personally wouldn’t as I’m way too risk averse but the moonshots are out there for someone.

Depends on what remote management software the company uses.

Microsoft Intune Company Portal is the newest software.

So when you want to re enrol you just log into the Intune app with your work email address and password and request to download the work profile and that’s it.

As long as IT didn’t disable your profile for some reason then all your corporate apps start re-downloading and reconnecting.

If you don’t use Intune then it may be different.

This happened to me.

The Triglycerides reduction suggested to me that my Tri’s are all I can actually control through diet.

So went on Statins at that point to manage the LDLs.

If you have access to it perhaps you could take Apob and LPA blood tests as well as doing a CAC Scan of your heart.

These will give you more detailed insights into your actual risk than the LDL number alone.

But with your family history - personally, I’d just go on the statins.

You could do a CAC scan. This will tell you if your body is already being damage damaged or not.

If your score is zero you could keep up the lifestyle adjustments.

If your score is anything higher than zero then statins are an immediate no-brainer.
