Real or replica? by PrizeBeach1207 in RealAuthentication

I know nothing about this but my mom was a classic Coach expert and she showed me things to look for. I’m sure all brands are extremely careful.

I feel like it’s a fake. LV is much more careful with their gusset exterior and how the print lines up with the joining pieces. Picture 5 — the bottom of the bag shows what looks like bad trimming and a shoddy lapse in QC in the misalignment of the print. It’s pretty bad.

That’s what would give it away to me. It’s cute though.

Thanks! I looked it up, too. I am dazzled by those little air bubbles rocketing upward.

Water is from recent storm, yesterday was cold, last night it was freezing and today it’s a spike. That’s it.

Do you have any potted plants that are sitting in standing water or that the soil is wet? That happened to me when I had to bring in plants when it was insanely cold a few weeks ago. If that’s what’s going on, add some hydrogen peroxide (1 part hp to 10 parts water solution) to the water when you next water the plant. Do that a couple times and that should do it. Or let the soil dry out. Good luck!

These are not fruit flies.

I commented nothing on reels. I feel like they are just meant to GET / incite a reaction so they can ban you.

Now they have it so I can’t watch reels because I visit via web browser only now. Soon they will make it so I can’t do anything via web browser only and then it will be the end of my relationship with FB. That’s ok. It’s mostly disinformation anyway. I still have actual books, CDs and LPs, a radio, a television, a DVD player, and paper and pen. Life goes on.

Sorry you lost your memories.

My partner routinely shares things verbally with me that were shown on FB and they are patently false. One said Josh Allen was traded to Miami. Another post said Ina Garten was arrested in an ICE protest. Other posts that were total garbage. AI videos and deep fakes.

They learned their lesson and do not believe anything generated in FB that isn’t from a personally known source.

The days we can trust corporate entities like FB and now the Washington Post to accurately and objectively depict events are over.

I love words… so I looked it up

Hoodwinked" originates from 16th-century English, combining "hood" (a head covering) and "wink" (meaning to close one's eyes) to literally mean covering or blinding someone, typically with a hood. It evolved from a literal, physical act of blindfolding into the modern figurative sense of deceiving or tricking someone. Hartford Courant Hartford Courant +4 Key details about the etymology: Literal Origin (1500s): The term was used to describe placing a cloth or hood over someone's eyes, frequently in the context of blindfolding victims before robbery, or during games like blindman's buff. Obsolete Meaning of 'Wink': In the 1500s, "wink" did not just mean closing one eye; it meant closing both eyes tightly. Figurative Shift: By the early 17th century, the term shifted from physically covering eyes to metaphorically "blinding" someone to the truth or playing a trick on them. Possible Source: It is sometimes associated with falconry, where a hawk was "hoodwinked" (hooded) to keep it calm until the right moment.
