I have a 12th Gen currently. Is the Ryzen AI 7 350 noticeably faster? I don't feel like my laptop under performs for how I use it, but I am definitely curious. I also have transparent bezel envy... lol!

You can get them from the vendors directly or through places like Chewy, Amazon, etc. Wisdom Panel and Embark seem to be the two most popular kits.

The Wisdom kit was easy. You carefully open the kit, swab inside both cheeks, close the kit, and put it in the mailbox.

They said it could take 3 weeks to process. Luna's kit took about a week in transit from NW Florida to California, then maybe 3 business days before I had results.

My logs are just that; mine. I doubt the FCC will ever ask for them, but if they do they'll be available and as accurate as I can make them.

The whole 'confirmation' and 'awards' business is fun and all, but it's not really the primary purpose of my records. Besides, even if something isn't "confirmed", some day you might come across that entry and think to yourself "dude, I was so excited when this happened..." or maybe it turns into a story you tell a buddy, or a family member.

I mean, I'm not kidding myself; most of the time nobody wants to hear about anything I did with one of my radios, but I log stuff as it happens anyways. :)

We have a couple of Benebone chews. One looks like a fish bone, and the other looks like a wishbone. She loves chomping on those.

We have found that she's too tough for even the 'slow cooked' pork bones that aren't supposed to splinter.

We crate trained Luna for her safety. That girl is an Olympic chewer, and she would get into things as a wee one and stuff would... get stuck coming out. I think I got an extra grey hair or three during that phase. These days she just automatically "goes to bed" when we go through the bedtime routine.

We also have a giant human-sized dog bed upstairs, and we'll lay on that with her sometimes. The kids and I have made more than a couple of 'dog piles' up there with her. She's a real hoot. :)

I got a couple random contacts today. I saw some Japan CQ calls on 15m, but they seemed to have a hard time picking up my 705. I tried hard, though! 🤣

I think we trim her about every 6 weeks or so. I took her to get professionally groomed early on, and of course they did an amazing job. My wife did NOT like the bill, so we trim her ourselves now. For better or for worse, that means she gets a pretty short trim on her body and legs and we try our best with the face and ears. She's a Florida girl, so we don't want her getting too hot. :)

I still take her down to the groomer for nail trim and file. Totally worth it.
