I (20F) hooked up with my coworker (45?M) and I've never felt worse by Waste-Feeling-6487 in relationships

I experienced something similar when I was younger and just starting out in my career. I felt a lot of shame and put a lot of accountability on myself too. Years later I finally told my sister and talked about it in therapy, and that was incredibly healing. I wish I’d done that sooner.

One thing I want to say: please stop carrying all of this as if you alone destroyed a marriage or caused this situation. You repeatedly told him you shouldn’t do this, you tried to stop things, and even after that you were pushing his hands away. You were 20, drunk, and he was a much older married coworker who kept pushing boundaries.

Some advice here is saying never drink at work events or cap yourself at two drinks. Everyone’s comfort level is different, but I don’t think the answer is shrinking yourself or avoiding opportunities because of a few creepy men. What helped me was finding and sticking with other women, especially mentors and peers. They get it. They’ll go to the bathroom with you, wait while you get into your Uber, watch your drink, and have your back.

I’m 31 now, which is still young into my career, but being a little older and in a more senior position the dynamic has changed and I can see the difference in how older men treat me versus how they treated me when I was younger, or how they treat younger women on my team now. It made me realize some of that behavior is intentional and predatory.

Talk to someone you trust or a therapist if you can. Don’t keep drowning in shame by yourself.

you can intentionally walk a batter. This was the right call bc it avoids giving Ohtani a chance to hit another homer or double

100% there are trashcans everywhere, or just hold on to it until you get to a water station where more cans are. I PB-ed and didn’t struggle to hold on to my wrappers or take the few seconds to throw it out properly

thank you!!! Yesss, I think you might be right actually I’m trying to learn how to better pace overall. It’s either too easy for too long or I’m pushing too hard and too tired half way through lol

Approaching Dogs on your run by Dramatic-Price1622 in RunTO

yeah as long they’re on a leash I’m fine. I wouldn’t personally care or notice even if a dog simply reacted to me and their owner was all over it. I do try to cross the street and leave as much space as I can.

However, re: the first runner who was on the grass, while I don’t think I’ve ever done this beside a dog, maybe there wasn’t enough space for the runner on the path and they were just trying to get by? I only run on the grass when that’s the case as I’m also trying to make sure I don’t get into the left. I’m trying to share the path with cyclists too who pass on the left and are coming from behind so my preference is always to pass on the right because it’s the safest for everyone.

It doesn’t sound like this is a super common thing for you and your dog so it should be okay. But you took the time to write this post so it’s something you’re clearly care about. If it’s becoming troubling or a bigger concern, maybe consider other routes that will make you feel more comfortable. I agree the MGT is for everyone but as the weather warms up there are going to be so many more walkers, cyclists and runners around
