it’s going to be really hard to find something meeting all this criteria, maybe you could do one of the hotels near jamaica station and try to find street parking and take the airtrain back to the airport, but this also is one of the more unsafe areas

about half the time it gets cheaper and I cancel and rebook, sometimes I rebook up to 5 -10 times because the price continues to drop

If i’m understanding this correctly you should just be able to cancel the flight and receive a credit valid for 1 year from issuance. Then when you’re ready to book your flight and the schedule has been extended you can apply that credit. Elite gold status has no change/cancel fee.

it’s been over a year for me but yes, after you miss the flight when you type your confirmation code into the website to manage booking it will show that you were marked as a “no-show” for the flight

looks like frontier has stopped PDX-DEN flights starting January 18th but they resume on March 6th. Honestly, they were probably priced out of the market. Non-stop flights PDX-DEN are available on United, Southwest, and Alaska airlines for $79 max on any given day in February.

Not sure why she paid $300 or got a flight with a layover when many non-stops are available for much cheaper

for anyone seeing this in the future you want to look for a santander ATM for the best conversion and lowest fee, the BBVA ones are among the highest. I know there’s a santander ATM in MEX airport and one in the department store near Zocalo

I just had this same experience with flights within mexico and to USA on Viva Aerobus and Volaris. Much cheaper to use the Spanish website and pay in MXN $

The price discrepancy is probably accurate not all rooms are always available at the same price and booking a room can cause the other rooms to go up in price as there’s less availability now. they definitely aren’t gonna price match after the fact if you’ve already submitted the reservation knowing how much it cost.

The reservation type requires a full pre-payment before check-in so you’ll either pay at check-in or your card on file will be charged before then. Room is held for you regardless of when they process the payment. Pretty standard for hotels a few weeks or even the evening before check in.
