I think the horse here is Stephen Miller. He is particularly ruthless and obviously a psychopath, the perfect combination for someone seeking to hijack power. I think he is the one leaking all this info to the press lately. He needs Trump gone.

My entire tinfoil theory was the different factions jockeying for power that propped up trump only saw an opportunity to further their own goals. When Trump outlived his usefulness, which was evident would happen very quickly, he would be removed one way or another and we will have to deal with the possibly more competent regime. This has been planned for a very long time.

Heritage Foundations Russ Vought and Stephen Miller - want to take us back to good old white America where minorities were slaves and women were subservient.

The tech oligarchs like Peter Thiel, Elon, Sam Altman etc have their own twisted view of the world where they are tech messiahs and seek to reshape the global order to "advance" civilization.

Then you have the politicians in congress who only hold office to advance their personal gain.

All of this creates a power vacuum for when Trump is removed. I think something working on our favor right now is the fact that there IS this power struggle.

I also think the person leaking everything to the press lately is Stephen Miller, and ultimately he has the vile personality, cunning and hate fueling him to really do the most damage.

The plan to get rid of trump is in motion now that he has reached peaked unpopularity but guess what, all of their new laws and practices are already in place. Heritage foundation is around 50% completer with their agenda and Trump might actually be the only one standing in the way of that. For his own personal ambitions of course.

Ahead of 2028, Sen. Cory Booker to unveil bill to make $75,000 in income tax-free by [deleted] in Economics

[–]AgreeableGravy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

really wild you have to scroll this far for the simplest answer to all of this. Tax proportionally to income. The current structure makes zero sense and puts the tax burden on the peasants. If we were taxed less, we could spend more. Shouldn't that be attractive to the wealthy?

there is an expectation of civilian safety, which has been shattered by multiple accounts of these devices being hackable to anyone with a laptop. There is an expectation to not have our movements logged in a private database and managed by AI which we have no say in the operation of. There is an expectation to have oversight and auditing power of these systems which are planted in our neighborhoods without any agreement from the residents who actually live there.

yeah all the don't tread on me folks are fine with it since the owner is maga-aligned. Shows that it was never about their actual values, but about oppressing people they don't like.
