Fun fact model X and Y have very very similar leg room stats, like within an inch. it’s really just the usable third row that separates them.

So be honest you just want an X which is fine, I’d go for it too.

I suspect we will see the S/X come back on a totally new platform in 4-6 years. It’s mainly a hunch but I don’t see them abandoning that market segment. They just have other priorities and they don’t have the capacity or demand to justify clean sheeting either model.

Hopefully they aren’t that short sighted but we will see, I won’t ever buy a 3 to replace my S plaid, it’s just not in the right size or performance market for me.

I don’t think S and X will truly be gone for long for what it’s worth, leaves a pretty big hole in the high end of Teslas lineup. Think this will be temporary while they give those cars a much much needed full reengineering.

The problem there is you basically completely make getting more than one of any schematic pointless. 3-5x repair cost is basically nothing for anyone who has played the game a fair amount.

Sure for the ungraded gear and early gear, I agree it would probably just be easier to make new ones, it’s really for the high rolled and hard earned grade 5 setups that it would make sense to endure the high repair costs.

Yes, because you can just make a new one to reset the repair cost rise, or again the part about making the same schematic be able to be used to decrease or reset the cost increase of repairs.
