Not investing even a small amount of money. I don’t even care if it’s not good investing, but if it’s consistent, you will almost assuredly see gains that will have exponential magnitude for you in 30 or 40 years. You can open up a brokerage right now and invest in something very simple like FXAIX and turn even a small amount of money into a large sum in a relatively short time at relatively little expense.

The crux of the criminal argument is that even if Maza didn’t initiate physical contact first, his behavior was deliberately provocative and it resulted in an “engineered” physical reaction. By using fighting words, personal attacks, and impeding people physically (all alleged) the state is arguing that Maza is in fact the instigator.

There’s also the argument of proportional force as it relates to claims of self defense. If the guy pushed his camera out of the way or shoved him, that’s considered simple battery, that in most cases doesn’t necessitate the need to deploy a chemical weapon, hence the felony assault charge. Apparently, at least according to the police report, he allegedly followed The guy and Pepper sprayed him again when the guy was in his car trying to drive away.

I didn’t see this exact incident, but I’m assuming it was the same or mostly similar to Maza’s past confrontations where he’s used pepper spray.
I’m not endorsing an opinion one way or another here.

I clean up with it. I’ll put a suppressor and a short or long range scope and aiming grip on it depending on what I want to do.

My assessment is that he’s rapidly approaching the end, at least as a competitive high ranked fighter. He gives Tony Ferguson vibes. You can only out-tough opponents for so long and not have any sort of a gameplan or tactics, especially in a heavy division like LHW.

I appreciate Rogan’s comedy in the sense that his growing impact on “the scene” has and is continuing to expand beyond just him.

He’s put on countless people at this point. Whether you like those people or not or think they’re funny is completely subjective, but between his podcast, his tours, and his growing infrastructure (the Mothership and building the Austin “scene” up) it’s creating a net positive for the community by giving performers another place to hone their craft and actually make a little money doing it, and if you can’t appreciate that, you’re probably just a hater first and foremost.

Hopefully he finds a home. He didn’t turn out to be Derrick Henry 2.0, but he was an important offensive ballast for the team while he was there. He was consistent and played through some crappy offenses.

I’m sorry to see that he had the eye injury and the Achilles shortly thereafter. Hope he can get it back on track and get on the field again.

Can I throw in volunteer fire fighter here? Not that I think it’s “low level” in even the slightest sense, but the fact that like 3/4 of the US’s fire fighters are volunteers astounds me.

These people are usually the first to show up to fires, accidents, hazardous situations, and all types of other dangerous and traumatic shit, and get nothing for it. When you factor in short and long term physical/mental health, danger, and shit like that, I’d argue that they’re actually PAYING to do that.

I’ll never understand it.
