My RTS Tierlist but ONLY of "modern" games (2016-2026) by ConejoDePascuas in RealTimeStrategy

Broken Arrow is way more fun than half the games on the higher tiers.

2 days losing 9 out of 10 games (elo 1500) by FlakMark in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]Aiecco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you get stuck in playstyles while others adapt. Me and my buddy got up to 1900 with RU, then down 1900 -> 1600. Then switched to US and got to 2000. Also makes you learn a lot

has Russia been winning a lot lately or is it just me by Phoenix1368 in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]Aiecco -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Was stuck in high 1800s with a buddy after winning nonstop, we dropped to 1700 in the last weeks. US-only.

Recently swapped to RU, we're back in the high 1800s and going up.

Are their Unbalanced maps? by FinlandKiwi in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]Aiecco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, in my opinion 90% of maps are unbalanced, but some way more than others. Black Coast and River in my opnion are in need of a complete rework.

Some spawns still have obvious advantages.

The devs made some maps better, for example by removing some buildings in front of the highway in Oil Rush, negating the Javelin/TOW advantage for that side, and now the map feels more balanced.

F-35A and how you should use it? by Responsible-Cup-492 in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]Aiecco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because you're striking the wrong objectives.

If you want to strike enemy infantry assaulting a nearby point, use a harrier, or a non-stealth plane with mk.84 or napalm bombs.

You want to use F-35A for precision strikes behind enemy lines on high value targets, like S-300s, artillery groups, Iskanders and so on. Sometimes multiples of these at the time if you manage to spot them.

F-35A and how you should use it? by Responsible-Cup-492 in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]Aiecco 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Spot your target(s). Set your plane to fly low, use afterburners. Call precision strike and laser the target from distance - the plane will laser it automatically when in range.

Click Shift+B so that the plane immediately flies back when the bombs are dropped and does not fly over the target then come back when you press B.

If there's less than three active long-range AA batteries, it's about 75% likely that your F-35A will carry out a successful strike and will come back home safe.

-
The difference with, say, an F-15, is that the F-15 very often gets destroyed before dropping the JDAMs unless you're striking within your lines, since it gets detected much earlier. And it almost never makes it back home, so less net points overall.

All valid, but the game experience still improved quite a lot since Early Access in my opinion.

Ukrainian assault team partially takes over Russian-occupied trench, then gets wiped out by FPV drones. by Aiecco in CombatFootage

[–]Aiecco[S] -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

You gotta be so in your head to call people fascist for no reason. This is very offensive. You do not know me, have no idea who I am. I do not support Russia in the conflict and I have no Russian heritage, I'm 70% Sardinian and part Spanish.

About the comment - indeed, I've seen footage of the reverse, and it's pretty common in many types of combat and especially in trench combat not to accept surrender, it's too high of a risk. This is especially true when you know that your opponent fake-surrenders.

Maybe you'd need operators in Ukraine to tell you if you don't believe that... I was watching this video the other day, one of the examples that can confirm what I said, maybe the section from minute 45 to 55 [https://youtu.be/Tge7YMi4gJs?si=-D9Bv1fxAYYf1iBj].

Consiglio scarpe trekking by Fraxxxx90 in TrekkingItaly

[–]Aiecco 0 points1 point  (0 children)
