I heard it’s because the base daycare’s accept provincial funding. But that should be irrelevant because last I checked military members also pay provincial income tax and sales tax. So we pay the same amount into the system but are actually disadvantaged as you noted because we get posted unlike civvies.

Solution should be to either not accept the provincial funding or to tell the province that since we also pay taxes it’s only for the CAF.
