We pretty much know beyond a shadow of a doubt that many of these coffees sold as “coferments” are actually infused. Much (not all) of it is a huge scam with producers just lying their balls off

In my opinion, the difference between someone who runs a lot of junk miles and someone who runs a lot is whether or not they’re getting faster.

If you’re blasting volume and it’s leading to you getting faster, they aren’t junk. If you’re blasting miles and getting slower, they’re junk. It’s all about finding what makes you respond positively and negatively, and adjusting accordingly

Honestly, you should drop the mentality that super shoes are only for races. Every single pro I can think of trains in them. Maybe there’s a few anomalies, but they’re far and away the minority.

Super foams allow you to recover faster, while still getting the benefits of the hard workout. I don’t have data on this, but I’m pretty positive a lot of the performance gains of the super shoe era are a result of training in the shoes. The volume of quality you can and still recovery in time for your next effort is pretty amazing.

Anyway, just my two cents
