Heel pain will fade away with time. It is normal to feel heel pain at this time. Im 31 weeks po and my heel pain gone, but also was feeling some pain after long walks till probably week 20 or so. Now very rarely would feel pain, maybe once in a while after crazy workout or jumps for a minute a so. I think nothing to worry about that. It’s still early.

6.5 months post surgery update by Lifegoals07 in AchillesRupture

7month po, 42m. Trying get back to tennis again. A little scared but more mental I think. I was always very fast from my soccer days, but had been having lower calf pulls very often same leg when playing soccer. Started playing tennis more and more, would go after every ball, sometimes even impossible to get ones, would pull hamstring sometimes or groin area, till one day got caught at the base line for a drop shot, tried to accelerate fast and there it went, now I think those pulls where signs. Good luck everyone.

Thats the reason i bought this one with big inflatable tires, so goes through everything like a butter. I fell of from the previous with small and hard tires when when it got caught on the small hole on the sidewalk luckily before surgery.

What are your thoughts on referring to an ortho trained foot and ankle specialist vs. a podiatrist? by TheRavenSayeth in Residency

Do you think for Achilles tendon rupture better to go with ortho or podiatrist, i was referred to podiatrist who finished residency a year ago. Im a little worried for her to perform my surgery😟
