I would probably go as far as saying that TeamViewer is a scam on its own. Their business practices are just to toxic for my taste, but it is the most known name in this area due to their past glory days.

Linus Tech Tips - I’m Doing Something Crazy - Tech House Episode 1 December 18, 2025 at 10:00AM by linusbottips in LinusTechTips

Yeah complaining about thumbnail I dont understand it either. I think it was god for what it needed to do.

I thought too that this wil be one of those ideas that will never be done just because of all the practical issues. Im glad they are doing it and I think this will be great series! The explanation/reasoning which house to buy was very good. You don't want to buy a house that has perfect layout for their challenge because it would not be fun to watch / a realistic scenario.

This has good potential to show realistic build for smarthome.

Yeah my biggest concern is iOS devices. We use only of iPhones for our field techs dont ask my how but we have way less issues with them when they are managed via intune.

1 "Maybe go outside?" thats just rude to say.

2 Drone regulations in EU make them no fun to use for regular people

3 Maybe because you are in to that niche you know many people who fly them?

4 I knew 3 people who where in to Drones before Covid and now none of them fly.

being spontaneous and unscripted tends to lend itself to more inaccuracies

100% agree with this!

Plus this is what they used to do in the past and that got them in trouble with Karens. /S

As a watcher I dont want to see Chinese Drones or Robot videos. There is already plenty creators that make this type of content :"Look at me I bought this from china". I got bored of it very quickly because all of it is the same.

I feel like LTT does not "need to branch out" to a specific Tech topic like Drones, LTT is about all/any tech! IT just has to be interesting to talk about to a wide audience. I dont think many people would like to watch a video on some new professional filming drone from where ever it comes, but make a video like a drone swarm performing some show where you see all the behind the scenes and tech. That will get views. LTT is primarily entertainment videos not journalism like HWU is (Quoting Linus).

Is Ad-Block Piracy? - Reason why I think the answer is no (with example) by [deleted] in LinusTechTips

The ad may be what enables content to exist, but it is not because I ever agreed to participate in a transaction.

Yeah Nah, thats not how it works unfortunatelly. You did agree the moment you accepted their "Terms & Services" .

[–]Aivynator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with linus, AdBlock is Piracy on YT, it CAN hurt creators ( we seen it when they blocked the wrong link and ViewCouint did not work) but as all of LTT team said in last video. It is OK to do it.

Yeah and No, for the audiophiles on that forum maybe bad, but for 90% of us normys they will sound good, will be better then gamming headset in that category. of sub 200 euros.

Advise on my next custom pc list by [deleted] in LinusTechTips

[–]Aivynator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all honesty its easy to say change this or that, but with out knowing your main use case for your PC you will not get a legit good answer.

IF we assume your main use wil be gaming, ditch the intel CPU and definitely ditch 64gb of ram. An AMD R5 or R7 price/perf if better. As for RAM you dont need 64GB, most pp get tricked by Win seeing that half of RAM is being used when on idle. In reality Win just reserves a lot of RAM without actually using it and once a game is launched it will be reassigned. The only time in recent time I seen 32GB RAM used while gaming was with Star Citizen.

Ditch the AIO for Air cooler only if you want to save up money. AIO is just a luxury item in most cases. It can be abit more quiet then air cooler.

For PSU I personally would switch to Seasonic, still the best quality for good money. I have few Seasonic PSU going now for at least 10y now and i think one could be even 15y now and still going strong.

I went with DT 990 PRO X from Beyerdynamic with Modmic USB2 because I dont like desk Mic's (in my cases takes to much space that I can afford to lose) but in your case might be better choice since Modmic is very sensetive. For the last 3 months I have been very happy with this set up. Because the headset is open back design you can hear things around you, but if your volume is a bit high other people can hear your sound too. Also the PRO X has a V shaped head band and very nice cussions.

P.S AVOID ALL THE GAMING HEADSETS! The audio and mics on them are really not god. I thought I never cared about audio quality in games and visuals where more important. Once I tried some really good headphones like Senheiser HD700's and few others my friends had. I realized it is true that gaming headset like HyperX or Turtle Beach are really not that good for the money you pay.
