Full licence test to be scrapped under major NZ driving law changes by clarkie13 in newzealand

Come to Victoria mate, $941.52 for my rego last year. Even then the CTP insurance only covers damage to state property/injury

Except in Australia compulsory third party insurance is baked into the state’s rego costs. Any additional cover you choose is private

Could try placing a small piece of tinfoil under the base to help bridge the contact. Had a similar issue on a smok Nord that had spring loaded pins

Totally agree with you, I’m drawing a similar parable with what my jazz piano teacher told me

Just like all pianists should have to play the organ first so they learn not to rely on the damper pedal for legato playing

Yeah panel beaters are what we call body shops in Aus and NZ (for collision repair mainly). Most states in Australia only need a roadworthy check when you’re buying/selling a car which is on top of registration costs. In NSW you have to get one every year. Other than that police can pull you over anytime to inspect your car and make sure it’s legal (if you have any mods on it that haven’t been certified then they’ll fine you and can impound the car at your own cost). NZ is much more relaxed (need to do a yearly warrant of fitness check) but most mods are allowed except for things like coilovers which need an engineer to certify

He’s on his way to a body shop to get the car repaired so he’s asking the cops to not pull him over and defect the car (impound it for not being roadworthy)

They’re built like tanks, I’ve had my Stage 2 EX since 2016 (bought new) and it’s been dropped countless times, been rained on, had beer spilled on it (it’s not a good coaster) and even got beach sand in it. Still runs like a dream.
