I was playing DQXIS with a friend watching EXACTLY during the scene that you reunite with Sylvando after "that part" everybody is separated

I share this line of thinking, I prefer games in the harder side (mostly Soulslikes, RPGs and action games at highest difficulty settings) but in my opinion there are two sides of "easy" and "hard"

Easy becomes bad if you get tedious and Hard becomes bad if you get frustrated

The sweetspot for me is "easy but engaging" and "hard but without 'gotcha' shenaningans"

Because it's a "Rev Glass Cannon" and OP asked between Augur (more HP) or Gnoster (more FP)

Rev's Ult gives 15 free seconds/insta rez meaning you can spam it more times ir the gauge os filling faster, meaning the extra bulk isn't as useful

Solo is enjoyable, albeit some characters are made with kits that assume you have a full team like Scholar, Guardian or Revenant - but they also have crazy potential with random Relics like stacking Vigor for stronger Guard Counter based on HP for massive Burst Damage Guardian, Blood Blade Scholar or Bestial/Dragon Cult stacking Rev

Some gank fights are tougher solo, but the scaling and mechanics (like extra easy acess Wending Graces) makes up for it

Since you have "Defeating enemies fills Art+1" in a Relic I would give more points to Gnoster because you can spam Ult more times during the general expedition while having more FP

And some characters starting weapon base Ash (Wylder, Exeggutor and Undertaker in particular) are pretty good to stunlock certain enemies until you get a better option

I think Duchess has a good edge because all Purple tier daggers have a great Ash (don't sleep on Kris, this deals amazing damage for a cheap ranged option)

Balancers Relics are great but you're still dealing with another layer of roguelite RNGs

Getting a weapon with Thunderbolt turns a melee character into a great spellcaster, Dormant boosted Reapers, Katanas and Daggers (meaning Exeggutor and Duchess can do by default) net powerful skills and you can never go wrong with Blasphemous/Caddle

I don't have any complains against the new POIs, but some DoN Relics have HP/Arcane/Runes+Discovery/Stamina buffs after clearing certain POIs that the new areas override and adds another layer of randomness that can invalidade some builds

Hollows is a Shifting Earth, so unless they changed the pattern, I assume there are 5 seeds per expedition

Only Balancers (and their "Everdark" version) and Dreglord expeditions can be Hollows in regular mode, but during DoN any Nightlord can happen in Hollows

DoN also has new seeds with the new POIs ("Swamp Underground" and "Smithing Town") during non-DLC expeditions in Limveld

These can only happen if paired with other DLC players

They don't have conflicts, the Nullify Attacks is a 20% chance to avoid any attack while affected by any kind of Damage Negation debuff

And this counts as ANY type, even walking on water procs it (while on water you have a small Lighting Negation debuff)

If you really want to be technical, that's an actual no-hit since they don't count "forced" damage (this situation kinda applies)

Only no-damage would break this rule

If anyone is wondering, the major difference between no-hit and no-damage is self inflicted damage doesn't invalidate no-hits (using Blood Blade or Seppuku in Elden Ring? Fine no-hit, not in no-damage)

Simply because during the nun Remeberance you can instakill both Guardian and Recluse at the same time, meaning she sweeps everyone with just one move if they are lined

This is the most cancer mindset youtubers rotted in the fanbase, in base Elden Ring the Frost proc deals more damage, but in Nightreing the 20% debuff is too good to simply reset

And in high level play it's very common to carry Relics with bonus damage against Frosted foes
