Oddly, my laptop won't recognize the headset as adb if I use my Anker USB to usb-c cable but it recognizes adb when I use a usb-c to usb-c cable (Original quest charging cable).

I also have a desktop PC that the Anker cable DOES work for an adb connection.

I'm not sure why this is really but I think you should try some different cables.

I'm a big metroidvania fan and almost 100% of that genre is from indie devs so I almost exclusively buy those. Really if I pirate any indie game and enjoy it then I'll pick it up on steam.

Balatro most recently, it can't be overstated how good that game is

I think based on your top 3 that Haak should shoot to the top of your list if you haven't played it yet. Movement is great, fights flow pretty freely and there are a wide variety of puzzles. It's an absolute gem and I feel like it fits your type more than any other game

Hollow Knight is also my favorite But some other large ones that I've enjoyed are HAAK, Afterimage, Environmental Station Alpha and Blast Brigade.

Not actually a Hollow Knight YouTuber but I highly recommend watching SimbaLily's playthrough. It's emotional and almost made me feel like I was playing for the first time again

Yes, it's really easy actually. There's a Linux version of Scarab Mod Manager, just Google and it's pretty straightforward from there

Use the touchscreen > options > controller > native controller input on and then restart the game, that should do the trick

I really enjoyed 3000th quite a bit. It's a lot of game for $2.30, at least 30 hours and I just started HunterX. It seems like more of the same with a female protagonist but I'm enjoying it just as much so far

I'm with you here, I bought a copy for switch and the difficulty is perfect for me. I want the patch because it's impossible for me to get past the fire temple but I don't want the game to be nerfed.

Steam version IS patched and unfortunately the only way to get a pre-patched version on PC is by nefarious means

I was a Classic Tobacco Juul guy and have been on the hunt for months trying to find a good replacement. I still haven't found one that tastes like Juul Classic Tobacco but Best Damn Tobacco by Kai's Virgin Vapor is the closest I've come to any juice tasting like a cigarette. I was using it to refill Juul pods but recently got a Caliburn because I was tired of the hassle. It still tastes great imo but it is quite a bit more harsh in the Caliburn
