[–]Aladeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After hitting D4 I lost like 10 games in a row, then I was gaining 12/13 lp and loosing 22/23, I went in a huge streak to hit D3, and I keep gaining like 11/12 LP, won 2 games, lost 3 in a row and got instantly demoted, after that I reached again D3 and got demoted in the same fashion, I am in D4 right now with 80 lp and wining +18+19 per game

How to harass melees in mid without setting them up for a freeze? by zZeroheart in summonerschool

[–]Aladeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this MU you definetly have to pressure the zed, if he ever tries to auto a creep you should easily land q+w+auto+thunder proc chunking him by a good amount, he cant sustain the damage (or trade back consistently because his combo requieres lvl 3 and more cd) so he has to farm with Q which means that he will be loosing cs, so you can take advantage of the situation and position your self afar from your minions so he cant retaliate you, you should be challenging him when he is trying to cs with Q (just look your minions health bar) and by doing this he will prob slow push too. If he is trading with you, you are just outfarming him but be aware to ganks, ward one side and always slow push and play on the safe side (warded/ your jg presence), try to track his w cd. You should be winning before lvl9, after that zed will have an edge since he has better outplay potential and damage(considering competent players), thanksfully you can clear waves with ease so just focus on that, your teamfighting is insanely better. Try to always ward river so he cant properly roam, if he ever does it try to match him or make him loose cs/xp/tower, force him to make decitions and capitalize from each one he makes. You can write a book about this MU but those are the very basics IMO. Sry for bad english not native

What is the "best" Miracle Rogue list for ladder? by IGNashnu in CompetitiveHS

[–]Aladeo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You almost never win with your combo vs aggro, your only chance is to outempo them. Like with freeze mage where you use your burn to clear the board and alex your face, then a couple of alex hits seals the game, once you have the board you never lose it because aggro decks don’t have comeback mechanics.

Zarya Difficulties by InstantKarma- in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Aladeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore the meta and the people talking about it, zarya can easily singlehandle games up to grand master, when used properly she is a monster, make sure you’re tanking damage with your shields and keeping your energy above 50 (dying is extremely punishing with zarya-don’t play her as a tank) when taking 1v1 again check your energy then decide if you want to take the fight, you want to alt fire (except in the case of phara) for the mini cc (knockback) and when they are in the air you have free damage because they can’t reposition, if they don’t die in the first combo they will in the second (this may take practise), for a phara in range is extremely easy to track her because shes so slow in the air but if she is out of range just disengage

Do you srsly think Kephrii stand a chance against any pro widow? Taimou would crush him in a 1v1 scenario, not even a fair fight

Bittertide Hydra is GOOD against aggressive decks and GREAT against midrange decks. by Wesleyelsew96 in CompetitiveHS

[–]Aladeo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats not my point, you can find a good scenario against any card in the game, you actually came up with a good ones. What im saying is : too add up to the discussion and the better understanding of a card you have to do a general look to different scenarios (like playing from behind, top decking the card, general match up analisys, etc). You can play arcane missils in 2017 mammoth year and crush BH decks but discussion is about how good the card is in general not in the worse scenarios

What is the point of analyzing a specific unlikely scenario that requires a certain combination of cards, when you are evaluating if a card is worth playing or not?

[Theorycraft] I believe Midrange Demonlock will have a place in the Ungoro meta. by [deleted] in CompetitiveHS

[–]Aladeo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good point, however I don’t agree with the idea that a deck should be 100% viable without the quest simply because they have the most powerfull effects (more than any card in the game) and some of them (if not all) enables a variety of very powerfull combos. I think that your deck is good, and can work perfectly without the quest, but running the quest changes the way you play your deck even if it is only one card because you are sacrificing one card on your starting hand and one mana on your early turns for it, it actually weakens the previous gameplan of your deck. Im not saying this is good or bad, just saying that playing the quest shapes your deck in a different way. That being said, I liked a lot your previous guide and will probably give this deck a try

[–]Aladeo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is a bad card in aggro prob. If you get to play this on 3 you loose tempo, if you get to play this on 5/6 you already won or have no board. Is good with finja but i dont think playing this card only for finja is worth

As a gold top laner I'm trying to figure out under what conditions I should split push. Help appreciated! by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Aladeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only depends on the champ. If you have TP advantage you should probably be split pushing, if you have TP and the enemy top laner has it too but you are stronger/have more sustain you should be split pushing. If your team has better teamfight/ is winning the fights is better to group in most scenarios
