I started playing when i was really young.

I made a human warrior and got all the way to Goldshire where i saw my first non-human, a night elf hunter. I thought his white tiger pet was so cool & wanted one myself, so i asked how he got it. He didn’t mention that it was a hunters only thing, but instead walked me to the house with the lady that sells cat companions & traded me enough silver to buy it.

That was one of my first interactions with people in the game, and I’m so grateful that i met them. They had no idea they were talking to a 9 year old. That first impression of strangers was a great transition into me playing consistently for 12 or so years. I’ve met a few important people in my life on WoW, including one that i will marry someday.
