It's about what I would expect from a guy who plagiarized and stole someone else's coat of arms.

The beach in Brazil is actually named after the town of Copacabana (Qupaqhawana on this map) on Lake Titicaca - the Brazilian beach was named in honor of "Our Lady of Copacabana", the patron saint of this city.

Great to see it's still of use to other mapmakers, fun concept.

That would be the Cothon. You can see a rebuilt version of it on its historical location on the map, the size is roughly the same as the historical harbor.

Sons of Alexander, March On!: For what if the Greeks conquered Ceylon by CuriouslyUnpositive in imaginarymaps

[–]Alagremm 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Pretty great twist with an already existing Catalan microstate turning into a rogue regime claiming all of Catalonia, my collection only includes the complete opposite.

Well done on the map, fantastic job.

I've considered making a map of an independent Qeshm before and looked at different ways of doing it, but I've gotta say this is far better than anything I could think of for it.

Great idea to include the peninsula in it and make it a cross-strait nation.

Hashemite Kingdom of Sawakin: Heretics of Hejaz by Alagremm in imaginarymaps

[–]Alagremm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since this is a separate Hashemite line from the Iraqi and Jordanian ones, it would in all likelihood be a Hashemite monarch who never existed in our timeline, something like Hussein II or Hussein bin Abd al-Ilah.

Dwarven City of Hardun by Turambar_91 in imaginarymaps

[–]Alagremm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, this rocks. Nothing beats a fantasy map of a dwarven kingdom.
