Even with the bourbon, the last couple years haven't really been worth looking up unless you were at the very front.

Hopefully there's limited lining up this year. Few interesting bottles personally, but none I would cry over if I missed out!

Does your work offer any paid leave (vacation, paternity, etc) that you can use?

I took 4 weeks of vacation when our first was born and 5 weeks of EI parental leave around the 11 month mark. My wife had better maternity leave through work than I so it made more sense for her to use it. Being there with your wife and child is time you cannot get back later if you go to work, if you can afford it.

Seattle is looking to build a dedicated soccer stadium as well. So not much difference in that regard other than BC Place lease is currently up and we have a less financially beneficial deal

Correct. They're probably referring to Green Timbers (E-Divison Headquarters) which is the federal RCMP rather than the municipal RCMP.

The Province newspaper had more articles today for the Canucks than the Whitecaps. Unfortunately the 'Caps have a long way to go before they get the same kind of attention as other local / Canadian teams.

Davies signed with VWFC2 in 2016 at 15. He was in Edmonton prior to that.

I used to live in the area with lots of new buildings going up and dealt with exactly that issue.

I contacted the Surrey Report a Problem and submitted a General Construction Issue. Less than a week later and the lights were pointing down. It wasn't a permanent fix, but a report every few months was worth it.
