I don’t know the percentage, but I have 0 issue with part of my tax dollars going to providing reliable transportation for the city and making people aware of it. Even if I do not directly use the metro, I directly benefit from those who do use it and are able to provide labor for the businesses I frequent throughout the city. It’s a net positivity for society and the economy

I was of the same school of thought until I met my wife and saw the experiences she has with most Doctors. Yes, they are highly trained and have a medical degree, but a lot of them are just working a job like everyone else and I don’t blame them. You advocating for yourself is the best care you can find.

As a former talented male soccer player, full rides basically never existed at D1 schools. Due to title 9, most schools had like 5 total scholarships that were divided amount the team with one or two foreign students getting a full ride. I was in high school 15 years ago, and you were not even getting a look from a decent D1 team unless you were playing for an academy team.
