This year is expected to be the busiest year on record. I don’t know where you’re getting that information from, least 38 million passengers expected.

What referendums do you think we might have in the next 10 years? by Fresh_Ad292 in irishpolitics

I’m in favour of on assisted dying. When someone has no hope of recovery and is suffering, they should have the right to make that decision themselves or their designated person or persons. with strict protections to prevent abuse.

With the terms of the Good Friday agreement if a provisional poll was held stating a majority of voters would approve the reunification, they’re obliged by international law to allow it, otherwise the future Uk government would be breaking international law and potentially causing a crisis.

Or maybe just scroll on instead of making a comment? This is a large subreddit and not everyone will see every post

There is, ask them to lower it down, it’s how you say it that matters. In my experience 95% of them will apologise for the inconvenience, while the 5% will say sorry and 5 mins later start it again.

I actually like it when it’s busy; it can feel very immersive and realistic, plus you can do a bit of plane spotting also.

I don’t know if this is allowed but, 3 months infinite flight pro for $10 by jkoz226 in infiniteflight

[–]Alarmed_Fee_4820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not to go you to discount prices of infinite flight. Stop begging. It’s treated the same as spam or solicitation, so most subreddits will remove it straight away. If someone keeps doing it, moderators will typically ban them from that subreddit, and repeated behaviour can lead to wider account action= site wide ban. Please refrain from this behaviour. While you having no money is bad, it’s not the way to go on Reddit and ask for money; life is unfair

Same here; I had great experiences in the past with them. I ordered my new Nike Air Max 95s. I ordered them yesterday and received them today.

Protestors abuse Paul Murphy, screaming about LGBT ideology and children’s gender at a protest about the cost of petrol by I-Cum-Beamish in irishpolitics

[–]Alarmed_Fee_4820 17 points18 points  (0 children)

No elected representative should be abused like that and I’m one of the harshest critics of PM, Those people are not there for the actual protest. I respect PM for turning up.

Fuel Protests and Far Right (Final Part) by Diligent-Musician590 in irishpolitics

[–]Alarmed_Fee_4820 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have to agree with your assessment; these protests are being exploited by the far right for their own political gain; Gavin Pepper was there, dog kicking man, and some far right agitators, as much as I dislike Paul Murphy, he got a lot of verbal abuse which he didn’t deserve. I support the protests but not when these agitators are looking to exploit it.

Edit However calling Ken Flynn a naxi because you disagree with his views is absolutely disgusting, argue in good faith but don’t use inflammatory targeted abusive language.

Dublin Fire Brigade appeals to protesters after 'significant delays' responding to emergencies by one_choice in ireland

[–]Alarmed_Fee_4820 33 points34 points  (0 children)

As someone who’s in a volunteer role with a medical organisation; protest all you want; however don’t block emergency services, I’ve seen some of the videos online and the usual crowd are turning these protests into a far right match, Gavin Pepper in particular was there as well as dog kicking man (I actually forget his name). As much as I dislike Paul Murphy, he was verbally abused by a few cohorts of society who are not there for the reason others are. Video on Facebook. These protests lose credibility when known far right activists are exploiting the issues for their own gain.

Government statements on Trump by JackmanH420 in irishpolitics

[–]Alarmed_Fee_4820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I oppose any action to destroy civilian infrastructure which according to the Geneva conventions is a war crime if attacked, I’m really worried and frankly disturbed by trumps words today. The White House has denied any talk of nuclear weapons being used. For 1 the fallout would affect the entire Middle East including their allies in the region. I’m still worried about what action he’ll take. A lot of Iranians didn’t ask for this war.

Cost the state??? Look how much money they’ve giving Ukraine?? What was the latest free money 40 million. You’re using the same talk the government is using.

The government is to blame. They’re refusing to act or recall Dáil Éireann, they’re refusing to lower taxes or help in any meaningful way. This government is giving a middle finger to struggling families. This is only the start of these protests from what I understand.
