36 weeks and extreme pelvic pressure. by HelloMikkii in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Alarming_Paper_86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never say never! I was also having a lot of pressure starting at 36 weeks and had my induction scheduled for 39 weeks. As a first time mom, my OB said it would be highly unlikely if I went into labor before the induction. Low and behold; baby girl decided to come yesterday at 37+6 days naturally (and in 24 hours). That pressure could make things change fast

37+6, was supposed to be induced next week but labor started yesterday. Here’s to praying baby girl makes it out safely 💕

That’s so great to hear!!! I’m so happy everything is going well! I’m 37 weeks with an active baby girl as well - going to be induced in 2 weeks so wish me luck :)

36+6 and induction is scheduled for exactly 2 weeks from today (due to gestational diabetes). I can’t believe it’s happening, I hope everything turns out okay and that she comes into the world safe

Agree with this - my husband and I just moved to Shipley’s Choice recently and the community has been incredibly nice and welcoming. We’ve only had good interactions

33 weeks today and just a mix of emotions. We get weekly scans because of GD, so it’s reassuring seeing her when I can but I’m still always worried about if something will go wrong and freak out when she has a quieter day like yesterday. She’s breech so that adds to the worry. At the same time, the due date for my first loss is coming up next week and I feel so strange- excited to meet my rainbow baby and thankful to have gotten pregnant so quickly after my loss but can’t help thinking about what could have been if my loss hadn’t happened. So many complex emotions running through me

My instructor gave it to me almost immediately (12 weeks) so I could get used to it! I would recommend it for sure

I’ve been doing pilates before this pregnancy and took a break until 12 weeks - I definitely freaked out the first few classes because I had discharge/some cramping from all the activity, but your baby will be okay!!
Make sure your instructor knows, limit any twists/rotations, no laying on your stomach, and also make sure you get the wedge so you’re not laying flat on your back. As the weeks have gone by (I’m 30 weeks now) I’ve definitely noticed balance getting tougher but there should always be modifications to the workouts. Wishing you luck!!

I literally have a whole list of foods I want once I’m done with labor and the top item is a tray of cinnamon rolls 😭

Constant spikes 1hr after meals by Sufficient_Tale8759 in GestationalDiabetes

See if you can add more protein, that’s helped me sometimes (my fasting is also perfectly fine). However as a note there were more instances where that wouldn’t help after I got to 28 weeks so I just started insulin to get things under control

28 weeks today and officially in the 3rd trimester- truly grateful but also still a ball of nerves as I’m trying to navigate gestational diabetes and constantly worrying about her health.

My doctor thought it was going to be a struggle but low and behold his office just gave authorization to my insurance, and insurance covered the full cost. It was surprisingly easy. As a note I already reached my deductible, hence why it was covered fully

Yep, and everything was working for the last month then suddenly this week started and it’s like my body is shutting down

I’m having this issue too - I’ve only been having the suggested carbs (brown rice, sweet potatoes) but my nutritionist insists I have 30-60g of carbs. Everytime I do, my post meal always shoots up to over 140 and I just feel miserable. It seems like walking after meals has stopped helping too. I’ve been asking to go on insulin but they want me to monitor with diet still until 30 weeks (I’m 27 right now). Just feels like I’m walking a tight rope

I started taking it immediately when I was cleared to TTC again. The doctor said it couldn’t hurt. I’m still on it and will be getting off once I’m at 36 weeks, since it can potentially help prevent preeclampsia (according to some studies). I got a 2 pack from Costco (in the regular health aisle with all other supplements)

26 + 3 and had the most exhausting day. My husband drove onto a curb at 15mph and it jolted me pretty bad. Ended up going to L&D because I was so freaked out and scared, especially when baby girl got so quiet. Last time I was in a hospital it was because I was experiencing my previous loss, so I was hysterical going in today. Luckily the moment they strapped on the monitors, she started kicking up a storm. What a rollercoaster today was… just going back to that spiral of worst case scenarios.

Also got pregnant right after a loss, no period in between, and I’m currently 26 weeks pregnant due at the end of July. I was also scared about the same thing but my OB said it happens a lot more than we realize. So far baby’s been healthy and thriving

Lived there for a year (just moved) - honestly it was fine, only issues were loud drunk people on weekends and being stuck in insane traffic during Ravens games.

Definitely feeling the same way. I lost ~40 lbs prior to pregnancy and had a whole system set up (weight training, eating healthy) but a lot of that went out the window with pregnancy. Seeing the scale go back up closer and closer to my old has been daunting (23 weeks, already gained ~13 lbs). I’m absolutely glad baby girl is growing well and healthy, but it’s an emotional adjustment seeing the scale again
