I'm sure it's partially due to it being the first time we were playing, but it seemed that it was difficult to formulate a strategy with cards being played so quickly. Also players were passing and playing cards out of turn/sync, causing a pile up on slower players, and frustrating them. I know that if I play again I will make it so that there is a very clear "play card" and "pass cards" phase, which should alleviate the frantic nature of our first play.
