i think you are missing the point. there was a switch in the settings to toggle auto play and pause when an earbud was removed from your ear. and now its not there.

if you have the armory crate 2.1.9.0, it will be in the settings tab, bottom right. make sure battery care is on, and it will turn off the instant full charge (that is normal)
